I worked as Head of Ceramics at Brockenhurst College in the New Forest until leaving and setting up my own studio in Bransgore in 2009.

Originally from South Wales, I completed a Foundation course followed by ceramics at West of England College of Art, Bristol. I returned to Wales for a Post-Graduate teaching course at Cardiff University.
