Studio 1 High Ridge Pottery offers a well equipped studio with three throwing wheels, two electric kilns and one gas fired Raku kiln. We use a range of clays to produce earthenware, stoneware and Raku work.

Studio 1 A broad range of glazes is available from low firing to high firing. Glaze colours are being developed and updated continually.

Weekly Pottery classes (usually on a Tuesday) are available for all levels of ability from newcomers to the more experienced students who want to improve their skills. An individual programme is devised for each student so that they can design, develop and produce finished work. There is a wide range of specialist books and references for students to consult. Studio 4 Some more specialist making processes, like throwing, mould making and casting, handbuilding, and Raku may be taken on short intensive courses.

All work is glazed and fired at High Ridge Pottery.
